Q. How do I request an article that we do not have in full-text?
Sorry to hear that the article you need is unavailable in full-text through our resources. But worry not; there's a solution!
To request an article through our interlibrary loan department, you just need to follow the steps below:
- Search the title of the article in quotes ("Article Title") in Primo (searches all of our holdings - click here to get to the search box)
- On the result page, if the article does not come up as the first result, click the check box "Expand My Results" (located on the left side under the heading 'Refine Your Search'), and the article should appear after the page refreshes.
- Sign in to your account with your Lewis username and your Lewis password (the same username and password you use to sign in to MyLewis).
- Then, click the article's title from the results page, and the next page will have the option to select "request via interlibrary loan."
- A menu will drop down, and you just fill in your information.
After that's completed, it'll take 2-4 days to get the articles in your Lewis email.
