You can look up an article by title or DOI using our discovery tool, Primo. The steps below walk you through how to do that.

  • Go to the library home page and enter the title or the DOI of the article you are looking for in the search box below 'Your Search Starts Here' and select search.
  • A new window will open with your search results.
  • Sign in with the same Lewis username and Lewis password you use to sign in to MyLewis.
    • If the article you want is not in the top five results listed, select the box next to 'Expand my results', and the article should show up even if we don't have it in our collection.
  • If the article is available in our collection (indicated by 'available online' in green
    • Select the title of the article to open a new window
    • Under 'View Online', you will have options for the database(s) where the article is in our collection
      • choose one of the databases
      • open the article
  • If the article is not available in our collection (indicated by 'no online access in gray)
    • Select the title of the article to open a new window
    • Under 'How to get it,' you will have the option to request the article via interlibrary loan
    • You can also check Google Scholar via a link to Google Scholar at the bottom of the screen.
